Bueno, empiezo. Voy a escribir un blog ¿Que se propone el que escribe para la red? Probablemente no sea necesario decirlo, aunque la pregunta, bien mirada, no es tan banal: ¿qué se propone uno divulgando sus propias cavilaciones? Un blog no es un diario. ¿Vanitas Regina Mundi? Sin embargo, ya que empiezo, me da un poco de claridad mental decirme a mí mismo cómo querría abordar la cuestión. Sobretodo, querría aprender a escribir (sí, suponen bien: en mi cabeza, los fantasmas de futuros lectores me dicen: "¿porqué no aprendes primero y luego nos haces leerte?"). En cuanto al tema, pienso comentar hallazgos interesantes; rarezas de la literatura, de la historia y del comportamiento humano (el mío incluído), o lo que venga y sea digno de decirse, esperando que resulte llamativo para alguien. Espero además que la cosa me fuerce a alguna regularidad, que me resulta en general problemática.
La versión inglesa espera ser tanto un ejercicio de escritura en inglés -aunque sea sobretodo traducción de lo que escriba en español- como un intento algo pretencioso de llegar a una audiencia más amplia. Sobra decir que agradecería comentarios a nivel de estilo o de lengua o de gramática. Hecha esta honestamamente aburrida introducción, prometo entrar en materia con un nuevo artículo en estos días.
Well, I'm getting started. I'm writing a blog. What is one actually looking for by writing for the Net? Probably the question shouldn't even be asked, although, well thought, it isn't that trivial: what does one really expect by scattering one's own musings around? A blog is not a diary. Vanitas Regina Mundi?. Nonetheless since I'm starting, stating to myself how I expect to approach the question gives me some mental clarity. I'd like to learn to write (yes, you are right: in my head, the ghosts of future readers tell me: "Why don't you first learn to write and just then you make us read you?".) As the topic is concerned, I plan to remark interesting findings; bizarrities of literature, history and human behaviour (mine included), or whatever seems worth saying, hoping that all that be appealing to someone. I hope besides that the whole question compels me to some regularity, which I find often difficult.
The English version is intended to be a writing exercise in English -albeit mainly a translation of what I write in Spanish- and a somewhat pretentious attempt to reach a wider audience. Therefore, it comes without saying that I would appreciate advice on a purely stylistical-linguistical-grammatical ground. Having done this earnestly boring introduction, I promise to get to my point with a new post in these days.
